What a Big Boy!!

So Aiden is getting so so Big!! He is 10 months now, 8 teeth soon to be 10, and is almost walking. Aiden has a little walker that he pushes up and down the hall over and over all day long. It is so dang cute! He also is getting creative with different ways to get on and off the coach, I had no idea that these little people can get up on such big things. Ha ha it has been so fun to be home with my little guy. I am so grateful to have this little boy in my life and the opportunity to spend every waking hour with him. I love my family so much and couldnt be in a better place in my life!!! How could you not love this little boy...

Jackson Hole

This past weekend was full of fun, and alot of tired moments. Aiden's pictures will sum it up... Trent, myself, Aiden, Ryan, and Kristie all went to Jackson Hole for the weekend for a volleyball tournament that Kristie and I were playing in.

The Tournament started out full force when we showed up friday night. We had our first game at 5:30pm and 7 games later we walked out the gym at 11:30pm, it was crazy but very fun. We held a firm spot in 2nd place after winning 6 and losing by 4 in our final game on friday night.

Saturday came early at 7:30 for an 8:30 game, we were definatly tired and it showed through out the day.

We won our first game, lost our second... Which put us into the losers bracket, and knew we had to come back strong. The Game started and about 7 points in, Kristie jumped to hit a ball and came down wrong on her leg and blew her knee out of place. She was carried off the court, and recently found out that she tore her ACL. We couldn't believe it...

We ended up winning the game and stayed on the court again for the next team to come on. We pushed so hard through the next couple of matches and ended up losing in the third game by 2. it was a great opportunity to play in a tournament again, but oh man are we trying to get our bodies caught back up.

Aiden was such a trooper again and was so good!!! Trent was also amazing and very supportive through the whole tournament. I love my family very much, and am so sad for Kristie.

Busy week in Hawaii

Busy week in Hawaii

So these last two weeks have been some very exciting weeks! First My little family went to hawaii with Ryan and Kristie Kemp and it couldn't have been better. The weather was perfect and The beaches were beautiful. While in Hawaii Aiden started CRAWLING!! that's right started crawling and now he is all over the place and I love it. Aiden has also hit many milestones while on our trip. Aiden loves to clap his hands, whenever there is music playing Aiden is rocking his body and clapping along with the beat. It is so cute! Aiden also is pulling himself up on things and moving around like crazy, he also saw sand for the first time in Hawaii and loved everything about the beach... He for sure is my kid! ha ha Aiden was so great on the plane as well as the whole vacation which actually went a few days longer than excpected due to the joys of buddy passes and the amount of people that are also taking advantage of a cheap flight. It was crazy...

He was a little trooper, everywhere we went he smiled at everyone and was flirting it up with any little girl that he saw, I think I am going to have my hands full when he gets older. It was so funny, and you would not believe the different comments I got about Aiden... First, one lady in the grocery store said that My little 8 month old boy looked like her 35 year old brother gap included!( Aiden has 6 teeth now and the front two have a HUGE gap between them. ha ha)

I also got the question, Is it a girl or a boy? Even when he is in all blue or dark green and dinosaur pjs. It was definiatly a fun and exciting trip, never a dull moment!!! Thanks Ryan and Kristie for the great company! And I have to add that I am so grateful for my wonderful husband, he was such a great help with Aiden and made the trip perfect! I love you Babe!!!

What a weekend...

This last weekend My sister and I decided to venture out for the first time to minnesota with our little babies. We fly to salt lake 1st followed by a connecting flight to Minnesota to visit my mom for the weekend. I was so nervous to take my little fire ball Aiden on a plane, but he did great! When I got off the plane I had a small sigh of relief thinking that the worst was over, but oh was I wrong... The 2nd night that we were at my mom's house we were figuring out where would be the best place for two babies and one port-a-crib. So no brainer right, hailey's little girl can have the crib and Aiden can just sleep with me for the night, not remembering that Aiden loves to move around, and by the meaning of move around he never stops moving, he is such a wiggle worm even when he is sleeping. I moved closer and closer to the edge of the bed as he wiggled closer and closer to me. After about two hours of the moving and wiggling I finally found a comfortable spot and feel asleep fast, but not for long. Laying in a deep sleep I suddenly felt something very warm actually borderline hot. (my first thought was this is nice and warm) Then I realized that it is not good to have something hot coming from a sleeping baby right next to you. ha ha yep you guessed it, I was now uncomfortable and laying in my son's pee. He pee-ed right through his diaper and all over the bed. I woke Aiden up and changed his diaper and clothes then piled up blankets to cover the pee so that we could have somewhere to sleep.

Only a short hour later Aiden woke up and started screaming, so I decided to make him a bottle and try to soothe him. I held Aiden and attempted to make a bottle with him in my arms and was not being very sucessful, so I sat Aiden down on the dark floor by the kitchen and started making the bottle. I then picked Aiden up from the floor trying to figure out what he was holding and chewing on.... I got a little closer to his face and smelled dog poo!!! my mom's dog had pooed on the ground and yes my son ate it. Well he got a good taste of it till I freaked out and swipped my finger in his mouth and threw the poo. It was an awful night, but happy to say Aiden had a great time and he was amazing on his 1st plane ride.

Bundle of Joy!!!

So yesterday it was semi-warm and I decided to take Aiden to the park, when we walked out the door I realized that it was a little colder than I thought. Hence the fact that Aiden is so bundled up, but needless to say he loved it. Here are the pictures

The other day I got Aiden's pictures done with the best photographer ever! Cindy Bigalow is an amazing phtographer and has such a way with kids, I was so lucky to have the opportunity to work with her to get some pictures of Aiden for our house. We love them!!!
