Aiden is 2!!!

HAppy Happy Birthday my sweet little Aiden!! Aiden recently had his 2nd birthday and I can't believe how time flies. So I thought that I would post a few pictures from over these 2 years that just reminds me how grateful I am to have this little boy in my life and how much joy he bring me each and everyday!We love you Aiden and Happy Birthday!!

LIGHTNING!! Yep that is mcqueen

So Aiden has been so good with going to the potty in the toliet, and telling us when he need to use the potty. We decided to start a potty chart and when he filled it up we would move to the next step and get him some new underwear. Well the chart filled up very quickly considering that he pees every 10 min. and loved flushing the toilet so the excitment continued to excel. After getting a blizzard for doing so well, we made the plunge today and got him some underwear, Lightning Mcqueen underwear and he loves them! What a morning!!

The last couple of days I have had the worst ear ache and can not seem to shake it, and last night was by far the worst night yet. Since I was up almost all night Trent decided to get Aiden in the morning so that I could sleep. I know what you are all thinking right now.. Trent is such a great guy and a wonderful husband, though I totally agree since the thought was there but he was being a little lazy this morning. So his so called getting Aiden consisted of getting him a glass of milk and some cherrios in a cup while he covered his face with ablanket and fell back asleep on the couch. We have been working with Aiden on getting potty trained and he has been doing a great job of telling us when he has to go. So he told trent and grabbed his diaper, and Trent was still tired so he just ignored him. Aiden persisted to tell Trent that he was stinky and Trent said that he could smell him, but was just ignoring him for a few more minutes. For everyone that knows Aiden knows that he does not give up so he started jumping on trents chest and touching his face to get his attention. Trent said that the smell was getting stronger and stronger so he got Aiden to stop touching his face and decided to finally change him. When he looked a little closer he realized that Aiden had wiped poop all over his face as well as Trent's every time he touched him while getting his attention. He looked in the mirror and at Aiden, they were both covered in poop. So sick!!! The worst part is that Trent was wiping the poop off Aiden's face and not realizing that Aiden had scratched his face on the couch the night before and got a raspberry. He thought it was poop and rubbed it raw:( After everyone was all cleaned Trent walked back into the room and said, are you ready for your turn? ha ha ha Thanks for the thought hon!! Its the thought that counts right?

A few weeks ago we went sledding as a family, and brought Aiden's cousins (which he adores) with us to Idaho City for a full day of laughs. Everyone had a blast here are some pictures from the outing.

What a sneaky little bug

Aiden is becoming quite the little independent man these days. He grabs diapers and wipes when he is wet and needs to be changed, puts his coat on by himself, and recently has discovered that he can open the freezer and get a go-gurt out and start eating it.

So the other morning, I was talking on the phone to my sister and the freezer started beeping, (which it does when it has been left open for to long) and I could hear Aiden making noises with some wrappers. So I yelled to him from the other room to close the freezer and to come into the room. The beeping continued and I was still engaged in my conversation that I forgot about the freezer. 5 min later Aiden walks into my room and hands me a stick.. Yes a stick from a choc. covered Heath Dilly bar from DQ. Yep that little boy ate the whole thing, finished every last crumb and brought me the stick!!! Here is my cute little sneaky bug after he ate his breakfast.. The dilly bar!!!

What a great day!!!!

This last sat. we had a busy, but great day! We baked sugar cookies, played in the fresh snow, and went to the ward christmas party. So here are so pictures of our fun family day, and can I add how much Aiden loved Santa!!! Oh how things have changed from the year before.. Ha ha

Just a small update of the exciting new things that have been going on in our little household!! 1St Aiden moved into a TWIN bed and is loving it!! He climbs up and snuggles with his little bear every night before he goes to bed.

2nd Aiden has been very interested in going to the bathroom in the toilet!!! He pees daily in the toilet and has recently pooped twice in the toilet, I am very excited for my growing boy!!!

3rd Trent has become a little mountain man!! This last saturday Trent went up to Idaho City and chopped down a few trees to stock up on wood for our wood stove. He loved feeling like a mountain man, and I love that we have a ton of firewood to heat our house!!

I love my BOYS so much and am so grateful for the small things that make my life so great!!
